James Carter, a junior at Iowa, won the men's long jump at Drake Stadium for the second time in his career with a wind-aided lifetime-best 25-8.75 (7.84m) at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Des Moines. Carter also prevailed in 2019 with a leap of 24-1 (7.34m).
